Without quoting all relevant discussions (there has been more than a few) on how the proposals for vote to ETC comp should formalized, I am seeking a minimum of 10 Captains support so there can be a proper Captains vote on how the Captains would like this issue solved.
I am not going to use this thread to debate all the finer points of the alternatives to having one comiteè decide whats legible proposals and whats not - only point out that I think there should be possibilities for a more community driven process and that allowing (for instance) non-comitèe community initiatives backed by (for instance) 2 captains to be voted for side by side of what AR produces - could be a way to make sure we dont get a poor vote due to a there-is-no-alternative situation.
So, if you are a Captain and support a vote to explore alternatives - sign this thread!
Sorry, I'm against it.
The idea of the AR.com is so that others don't have to nit pick all the comp details; captains vote on people to represent them and then let them do their job.
I don't like the community.com idea; I really dislike how the UK and Polish play their game and their idea of 'fair'; and wouldn't like to see them push more of their ideas into the comp besides their influence in the AR.com (don't get me wrong, from the first democratically elected AR.com in 2012, one which I was part of, up to 2013 there has always been one Uk and one Polish guy in it; only in 2014 AR.com there were no Polish representatives; but their influence was always strongly present).
Dodatni razlog za taj prijedlog:
Fair enough that you prefer the AR.com solution. As long as we are clear on that what is proposed is community proposals with 2 captains for backing being allowed to be voted for on the same level as what AR.com has delivered.
This atleast forces even the polish to communicate with other teams, and promote their own pack, instead of attacking the AR with poor statistics and trying to manipulate their process (as was very succesfully performed for 2014).
Consider it. Thx.
