BTW, Nema šanse da Mantic preuzme bilo što oko Offical delegiranja pravila, forget about it and dont even hope. GW će ih prosto rastaviti na proste faktore
Tu si u krivu. MAntic moze sa Kings of War napraviti sto god hoce.
Evo par komentara sa stranih foruma.
If a company like Mantic would want to get in on what the community is doing, they should (IMO) try to somehow purchase (or request permission to use) the rulespacks from both of what the Swedes and Furion are doing, spend a month merging them all together while renaming everything that could be interpreted as GW IP.
After the IP lawyers give their final blessings, slap the Mantic header on top, rename it (KoW ETC Professional Edition) and release it to the masses while avoiding any GW Copyright Infringements.
Indeed, from what I gather Mantic already spoke with the guys doing 9th, so who knows maybe something like is would happen.
The future warhammer could also include some of the most unique KoW armies, or include Mantic units in their corresponding warhammer army.
I mean, for the last years Mantic has been selling their minis mostly to be used in WHFB games. They know that, and that's why they have supported ETC in the past. Likewise for AoW, Scibor, Titan Forge, Russian Alternative, Black Tree, Hasslefree, Raging heroes, Reaper and and dozens and dozens of miniatures that won't suddenly decide that they'll no longer make fantasy miniatures.
A lot of shops have been carrying Mantic even though no one plays KoW, because a zombie is a zombie and Mantic zombies are much cheaper than GW's.
Now, whether the KoW ruleset is good enough I don't know, but it certainly seems to have potential - and if Mantic are willing to listen to feedback and tweaks (which they seem to be doing!) they can improve their own ruleset, not adopt some bastardized version.
